With Spider-Man: Brand New Day bringing Spidey back into the Marvel spotlight, I’m going back to the early 2000s and opening vintage Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movie card packs from both Spider-Man 1 and Spider-Man 2. In this video, I rip 2002 Topps Spider-Man Movie Cards and 2004 Upper Deck Spider-Man 2 Movie Cards, including old loose packs chasing Spidey hologram cards, Web Shooter clear cards, Spider-Sense glow stickers, Web-Tech foil cards, lenticular motion cards, and Reel Piece of the Action cards. These packs are a fun mix of Marvel movie nostalgia, Tobey Maguire Spider-Man, Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Mary Jane, Peter Parker, and early-2000s non-sports trading card collecting. I also talk about what to watch for when opening older loose packs, including corner damage, sticking/bricking, foil condition, and why clean copies can be tough if you’re thinking about grading.
