Hi, Iwai! Today's topic is Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, also known as "Ayers Rock." Uluru was the most memorable thing I learned from the Level 3 textbook, which was my first exposure to the World Heritage Examination. Westerners "discovered" this place in the 1870s. However, it had been a sacred place for the Anangu people for hundreds of years before that. It is both a natural and cultural heritage site. Learning about the history surrounding Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and bringing back memories of my own student days, made me love the place even more. I spoke for over eight minutes this time.
