While staying at a hotel near Sungkyunkwan University Station for filming, this snack shop caught my eye while I was taking a walk. The charming exterior, reminiscent of elementary school days, and the prices were a surprise, and I decided to visit. It's a typical school snack shop, selling various snacks at affordable prices. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious, but what impressed me most was the owner. Even after visiting and filming countless restaurants, it's rare to meet someone so full of positive energy. He was literally the most exuberant owner I've ever seen. Oh my. He started his business in a pojangmacha (traditional Korean food stall) in front of Sungkyunkwan University 10 years ago and now runs it in a small space. I learned a lot about his original intentions when he told me that he would never raise the price of his signature dish, "Gimmari," until the day he closed down the business, to honor his longtime customers. I'd already read the restaurant's reviews, which were full of praise from customers, and I immediately understood why. When I was young, I'd go to the snack bar in front of my school, but I couldn't eat as much as I wanted because I was short on money. Now, as an adult, I'm thrilled by the thought of being able to eat as much as I want. That's why I came away so happy and satisfied. I was very satisfied. If you live near Sungkyunkwan University or Suwon, I recommend stopping by and sharing delicious food and the owner's positive energy. True to its name, the King Kimbap Roll was truly the best I've ever had. I really wish it was near my house.
