Bitcoin mining with solar?

My 20 kW solar array fills the batteries by 1pm every day. With no net metering here in southern Utah, roughly 50 kWh of clean power gets thrown away daily. In this video I run the numbers on the obvious idea: use that wasted power to mine Bitcoin with an Antminer S21 — and compare it head-to-head against simply buying Bitcoin with the same money (dollar cost averaging). Data from my Sol-Ark system, current mining economics after the halving, battery wear math on my 95 kWh bank, and a four-year verdict that surprised me.
