Multi-award-winning singer and musician Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh presents a brand-new 6-piece band, featuring some of the finest Irish musicians of their generation, joining her to celebrate and present the richness of Irish traditional music, song, and dance. Hailing from the Gaeltacht of Corca Dhuibhne, West Kerry, Muireann is one of the foremost exponents of sean nós singing, celebrated for the warmth, clarity, and expressive power of her voice. The star-studded cast joining her on stage are some of Ireland’s finest traditional musicians: • Michael Rooney – One of Ireland’s leading harpers and composers from Monaghan, • Dónal O’Connor – leading fiddle player and producer from the Oriel region, • Becky Ní Éallaithe – a gifted young sean nós dancer and concertina player from Conamara • Neil Martin – renowned Belfast cellist, composer, and arranger, • Mick O’Brien – legendary Dublin uilleann piper Together, this ensemble presents a concert of the very finest traditional music, song, and dance.
