Toccata & Fugue in D Minor - Bach - 1910 Dominion Orchestral Reed Organ

No electricity required for this piece, this is a 100% foot powered mechanical instrument, using air, wooden chambers and brass reeds to produce the sound. Visit   / rodneyjantzi.reedorgans   and click like :) In celebration of surpassing one million video views for this reed organ channel on YouTube, I thought this would be a way to celebrate the "pump organ", by arranging/transcribing the entire celebrated Toccata & Fugue in D minor for a 2 manual 100 year old reed organ without pedals. The entire pedal line was brought into the left hand and kept in the bass section were possible, and everything else had to be shifted into some awkward hand contortions that I never tried before. As you can see from the music in the video, I'm playing it straight from the pipe organ arrangement (so don't ask for a copy :) ) The organ is a foot pumped Dominion Orchestral reed organ, manufactured in Bowmanville Ontario Canada at the turn of the century, and fully restored in 2012-13. Thank you to everyone that has helped spread the word that reed organs are an instrument on their own, completely unlike a pipe organ and have extreme expression by controlling the treadles. The camera views were a mix of my Sony HD video camera, a Samsung still camera in movie mode (it is not as clear as the other cameras) and an iPhone5s, all synchronized together by Pinnacle Studio 16, except the multi formats sometimes caused sync issues.
