Official Water Levels FRENCH BROAD RIVER: The French Broad River Reached at height of 24.66 feet at 6 PM EDT on Sept 27 2024 at the Asheville NC collection site. This flood is the highest the French Broad River has reached. On March 7 1867, the French Broad River reached a height of 24 ft at the Asheville NC collection site. NOLICHUCKY RIVER: The official levels of the Nolichucky levels at the Nolichucky Dam is 64.53 ft at 10:45 PM EDT Sept 27 2024 ---Source : https://waterdata.usgs.gov/monitoring... The highest level recorded on the Nolichucky River was in May 21 1901 at Embreeville, reaching a height of 24 feet . At 11:15 AM EDT Sept 27 2024, the water level reached 19.56 ft at Embreeville , making this flood the 3rd highest in history.
