59. Fixing a leaky mushroom
Well in true narrowboat fashion, there's no such thing as a simple job. Every job always leads to another, or is a much bigger job than you originally thought. This time, a simple leaking mushroom in need of new seals became a too big hole that needs a weld job once the weather improves. So for now, it's a bodge job to just weatherproof it over the winter. The sealant I used on this job was fantastic, and recommended by marina staff, its called Sika Sikaflex EBT+.
