Phil Hansen is a multimedia artist who works at the intersection of traditional visual art, pointillism, and offbeat techniques. As a commercial artist, he has worked on a variety of TV and internet campaigns with clients that include the Grammy's, Skype, Diesel and Arby's. Hansen is the author of Tattoo A Banana, an innovative approach to everyday creativity. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
