Mordheim Battle Report - Averlanders vs Cult of the Possessed

Welcome back to the City of the Damned with another battle report for the game of Mordheim. The last campaign didn't quite take off, but you never know. Maybe this one will go a little longer, although as of now it's just an informal set of games. But it does feature a brand new warband in the form of The Briar Walkers, an Averlander human mercenary company led by Captain Rutger Pentecost. For their initial foray, they will face a fresh Cult of the Possessed warband. Will their time hunting around Black Fire Pass prepare the Briar Walkers for the horrors of the hideously mutated but numerically disadvantaged possessed?
