Mauritanie : Destins des Sables - Documentaire

This film tells the story of three young men: Mahoud, Taleb, and Boubacar. In Mauritania, traditions rooted in nomadic ways are an integral part of daily life. Surrounded by the sands of the Sahara Desert, their lives unfold with few surprises. One lives in the west on the Atlantic coast, another in the center of the country on the edge of a striking outcrop overlooking the Adrar Plateau, and the third in the southwest near the Senegal River, where ethnic and cultural diversity is most pronounced. They are all the same age and share a unique gaze of confidence and serenity. Their story is that of three unassuming young men striving to embody an ideal and a belief shaped by the vast expanse of the desert sands and winds.
