Kayaking the Upper and Lower Clough

Awesome day out on both sections of the Clough (mostly). The Upper was at a perfect level when we started and the constant rain kept it up for us. We did start to wonder if we should have left a car at the start of the lower section when the rain really didn't stop and the levels continued to rocket upwards as we got further down. We ended up portaging the last couple of rapids with some rush stoppers that looked a bit too meaty that late in the day. Great run though. Levels went from about 1.7 at the start of the day to at least 2.3 by the end.
