The Toltén Route Along the course of the Toltén River, from the violent skirts of the volcanoes to the port of tsunamis, stories as ancient as the foundation and destruction of Villarrica, the dispossession by the Chilean army, the German settlers who learned Mapudungun a century ago appear. The tsunami that destroyed Old Toltén. And an ancient people that remains in its telluric territory, looking into the future through the fog between machis and guillatunes.
