Recently, Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed the establishment of a new regional bloc comprised of the Turkic countries. This structure, called the "Central Asian Community," would include Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Azerbaijan, located across the Caspian Sea, could also be included. But why is there such a thing? Isn't the Organization of Turkic States, which includes Türkiye, an organization established precisely for this reason? To ensure that Turkic states can cooperate with one another.
