Deep Dub Techno Stabs in Ableton with Stock Devices Wavetable & Echo | making our own presets

In this video I show you how I like to use Ableton's own Wavetable, Echo & Hybrid Reverb to create my own custom Dub Techno Stab Instrument Racks from scratch. The key is keeping things modulating to give that hypnotic, evolving vibe so essential to dub techno. Echo does most of the work. I really like the ducking. If I were making these again, I’d definitely map the filter frequencies of both filters to their own separate macros, or at least one of them. In the MIDI modulation matrix, I have Osc 1 Pos set to 100, so every time I play a note, the wavetable jumps up to its full value. I’m not sure where this has come from, possibly when I saved my own default for the device!
