Never managed to get it going with the 8Ah batteries, even with the 4Ah ones it was a hit and miss. The phone had to stay connected to the tool for as long as I wanted to have the EXPERT mode enabled. The two stayed connected for no more than 10-15 seconds at a time. Possibly better results on Android! The EXPERT mode does require the use of an 8Ah battery for best results. In general all of these tools benefit from a large battery. Especially noticeable on the Parkside impact wrenches.
