It’s known for great roller coasters and other thrill rides, but there’s an entire section called Camp Snoopy with rides for kids. Camp Snoopy has a surprisingly large collection of rides for kids, and is nicely decorated and themed to feel like a campground in the woods. NOTE: Camp Snoopy was remodeled in Summer of 2024. There are rides for kids only, such as an airplane ride that goes around in circles. Many of the rides allow both kids and parents to ride together. There’s a nice long train ride goes through a section of the park. There’s a balloon ride which spun around in circles. A truck ride lets kids ride inside the truck while parents sit on top. A hang glider ride lets you lie down on your stomachs and fly around in a circle. There’s also a dizzy on a spinning boat ride, a bouncing car ride, a rotating bus ride, and flying swing ride. There are also other rides in throughout the amusement park that young kids can ride on as well. Knott’s Berry Farm in Southern California is a more affordable and less crowded alternative to some of the other theme parks the area, and our kids had a lot of fun.
