Bringing extinct species alive - Hortobagy National Park

This episode is part of my Wildlife & Rewilding Conservation Series. Here it shows Hortobágy National Park in Hungary, home to incredible rewilding and conservation projects. The park is working to restore extinct and locally extinct species to the wild, including Aurochs and Przewalski’s horses, creating a unique ecosystem where nature can thrive again. We explored the reserve, observed the animals, and learned about the ongoing efforts to protect and restore habitats for wildlife. This is how hands-on conservation and rewilding can bring ecosystems back to life.
