60.000€-Prothese: Zahlt die Krankenkasse?
A life without arms, with a prosthesis instead – hard to imagine for most people, but for Nicklas, this is (hopefully soon) reality. Last summer, his second arm was amputated. The cause is his CRPS, a pain syndrome that changed his life forever after an accident. Now he's supposed to get a prosthesis, and Oleg is there when Nicklas tries out the prosthetic arm for the first time. Will he actually be able to use it? How exactly does such a prosthesis work, and how much does it cost? And how would Nicklas's life change if he had a functioning hand again? Here's the first part with Nicklas: • Amputation wegen CRPS: Ich will lieber ohn... Why do we let animals suffer? Do we drink too much? Or: What does porn do to us? Our team and we are interested in questions that directly relate to our lives, but also in topics that are important to all of us and are often only discussed superficially. We search for answers to these questions, week after week – openly, honestly, and independently. We don't meet experts for this, but rather we're there: at the slaughterhouse, at the swingers' party, while proselytizing in the pedestrian zone. And because we want to learn as many perspectives as possible in our search, a question always occupies us for several weeks. In the end, we want to provide an answer, even if it's not easy for us. With each video – but especially in the discussions with you – we get a little closer to answering the big, tricky questions.
