IRON uses the AS VAL (obviously not as much as he uses the HDR but I mean, he does love his HDR) The AS VAL seems to sit in more of a secondary position, a powerful close range weapon as shown by IRON in this gameplay - prioritising his HDR for the long range fights and using the AS VAL when things get up close.
