Banks receive criticism for questioning customers wanting to withdrawal funds
Sky News host Rita Panahi says there’s a "little revolt" in Australia against banks asking customers why they want to withdraw their money. “We’ve long known that banks are required to report cash transactions, deposits or withdrawals of over $10,000, but some banks have taken it upon themselves to ask about much smaller transactions,” Ms Panahi said. “They want to know why you’re accessing your own funds via cash withdrawals.”
