. In this video, I will explore Mendalan Fort, also known as Mendalan Bunker or Parasbang Fort. It is a Dutch colonial-era complex located on the cliffs of the Mendalan hills, in Pondok Agung Village, Kasembon District, Malang Regency, East Java. It is located adjacent to the Mendalan Hydroelectric Power Plant (PLTA). From the center of Malang City, this location is approximately 50-60 km to the northwest, towards the border of Malang Regency and Kediri Regency. There are five concrete bunkers attached to the cliffs that once served as logistics storage for the Dutch colonial army. The fort was probably built between 1927 and 1933, coinciding with the construction of the PLTA. This area was a silent witness to the Battle of Mendalan (1948–1949).
