Edinburgh, Scotland 4K Walking Tour | No Talking

Join us for this virtual city walk in Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh and send us your thoughts and tips in the comments section below. We visit St Andrew Square, as it hosts the farewell event for Scotland's first ever nationwide public art trail. Based on The Sunday Post's famous comic book character, Oor Wullie, the BIg Bucket Trail features sculptures of Oor Wullie painted by many local artists. We start our 4K walk on Waverley Bridge, with the Scott Monument to our left. We cross Princes Street, seeing Edinburgh's iconic trams, and head up S St Andrew St to reach St Andrew Square and Oor Wullie's Big Bucket Trail Farewell. As well as the many painted sculptures, we see the Melville Monument featuring Henry Dundas, 1st Viscount Melville. We then exit the square via S St David St, passing The Ivy On The Square Edinburgh restaurant. Crossing Princes Street once more, we pass the Scott Monument and enter Princes Street Gardens East for a great view. Our walk then takes us past the Scottish National Gallery and into West Princes Street Garden. We see the Floral Clock display as we do, as well as the Royal Scots Greys Monument, the Scottish American Memorial and Wojtek the Soldier Bear Memorial. We end the walk by the magnificent Ross Fountain with the imposing Edinburgh Castle rising high above it. Some of you have asked how we manage travel so much each month?
