One of the questions I hear most often these days is: in the current political landscape, who has the best chance of winning the 2026 presidential elections? In this video, I offer a cold and objective analysis of our political panorama. As the philosopher Ortega y Gasset said, "man is his circumstance." Brazilian politics is dynamic, subject to scandals and unforeseen events, and any scenario today is temporally limited. However, strictly analyzing today's circumstances, I explain why Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva presents himself as the most viable candidate for re-election. I address two fundamental points that explain this advantage. The first is the weight of current power: the creation of fiscal policies that, although worrying for the economy, inject billions into the electoral base. The second, and most decisive, is the strategy of "getting out of the bubble." While Lula sought the center by choosing Geraldo Alckmin, the main opposition figures insist on the primary error of focusing only on their niches. Speaking only to Bolsonaro supporters might guarantee applause, but it doesn't guarantee the Presidency. To win, the path is inescapable: you need to win over the center.
