1968 C10 Build Episode 2 - Dismantle and Rear Suspension

Some carnage required! C10 chassis teardown, prep and installs New! Tech Talk links. Hit "SHOW MORE" for links below or tap them in-video. Before the G-Comp Rear Suspension, Ford 9" Housing for GM Trucks, C-Notch kit and Disc Brake Conversion kits can go on, the chassis needs a complete teardown and prep. After we cut all the tabs and extras off, the chassis gets a coat of primer. Then, we cut our C-notches and remove the beat up cross member. A coat of hardened urethane paint keeps the budget down before it's finally time for the big stuff. The rear suspension is reassembled, the G-Comp rear suspension goes in, then the Ford 9" rear housing, third member, rear axles and disc brakes. Finally, the G-Comp rear suspension goes in and you can start to imagine what the final product will look like.
