BPD: 3-year-old girl killed in hit-and-run, teen arrested
Baltimore police say officers arrested a 14-year-old boy following a hit-and-run in the Mount Clare neighborhood that killed a 3-year-old girl Saturday afternoon. Police say officers responded to a reported crash in the 1800 block of West Pratt Street around 1 p.m. and, upon arrival, found a 3-year-old girl suffering life-threatening injuries. She later died at the hospital. Police say the striking vehicle left the scene but was located by officers a short time later. The driver, a 14-year-old boy, was detained, and officers later learned that the car had been reported stolen by a family member shortly before the crash.
