SOLAR LIGHT TUBE – TUBO SOLAR – TÚNEL DE LUZ – SUN PIPE The dome is placed on the outside and maximizes the capture of natural sunlight that will enter the Solar Light Tube - Tunnel of Light - Sun Pipe - and that directs it to the solar diffuser placed inside the installation. The great advantage is that it can bring natural light to spaces that would otherwise be practically impossible to illuminate: Lighting of interior bathrooms, corridors, basements, etc. The domes, the Solar Light Tube – Light Tunnel – Sun Pipe and the solar diffusers have unique and selective features, so they transmit “good” light and eliminate harmful light (UV, and part of the Infrared) so that the heat transmission or cold to the inside is residual. Manufactured in Portugal, in Europe, Chatron's Solar Light Tubes have a design based on energy efficiency and have great integration with the buildings' global lighting. From studies carried out, we have found that, on average, about 80% of working hours in closed environments can be carried out with natural lighting, thus contributing directly to the reduction of energy consumption and, consequently, to the improvement of the energy efficiency of buildings.
