Landscape Photography | Light Is Like A Box Of Chocolates | Peak District | UK

Enjoying the lovely Peak District i tried to show how we can never really predict how the light will affect our images when doing landscape photography.. Starting out first thing in the morning i ventured up the Derwent Valley taking in Ladybower and Howden reservoirs, in the midst of a cloud inversion. As the hours progressed the inversion lifted and we managed to take some black and white images in the footsteps of Ansel Adams and with light rays coming through the trees. In the afternoon the light died and after meeting subscribers to the channel, we made the best of the flat light. Sunset approached and we ventured to Bamford Edge in the Peak District, hoping for an image. The sky didn't play ball but we had an excellent time. After three visits, i got the bridge shot i wanted, light and all.
