DREW LORENZO GREER had a distinguished career in both college football and the global sneaker industry. At Fullerton College, he set rushing records and earned All-American honors before transferring to Ohio University, where he starred for the Bobcats from 1988 to 1989. He became the first player in school history to record over 800 rushing yards and 800 kickoff return yards in a single season, earning All-MAC honors both years. His all-purpose yardage totals ranked among the nation’s best, cementing his legacy as one of Ohio’s most versatile offensive players. After football, Drew earned a B.S. in Environmental Health and a Master’s in Sports Administration from Ohio University’s renowned program before launching a global career in product management and brand marketing. As a Nike executive, he helped shape what became Nike Sportswear, growing it from a $30 million concept into a $500 million business, and pioneering the limited-edition footwear and artist collaboration model that defined modern sneaker culture. His creative vision led to iconic partnerships such as the Wu-Tang x Nike Dunk High (1999) and Roc-A-Fella x Nike Air Force 1, bridging the worlds of sport, hip hop, and streetwear. Drew’s career includes leadership roles at Nike, Under Armour, Supra + KR3W, and Ralph Lauren, as well as an international chapter at Nike’s European Headquarters in Amsterdam. Known throughout the industry as a “Brand Arsonist,” he built a reputation for sparking ideas that connect sport, culture and creativity. In 2019, Drew was inducted into the Sneaker Hall of Fame by the Black Footwear Forum for his lasting impact on sneaker culture and brand innovation. Today, Mr. Greer is the co-founder of The Storytelling Agency, BRAND I AM, helping brands, NIL athletes, and student–athletes shape their futures through authentic storytelling.
