Welcome back to Fluffy Feather Farm 🤍 This week’s episode is a special one because it’s all about creating something meaningful for one of our own. 🐐 Flappy’s New Home The heart of this video is a project we’ve been working on for Flappy, our buck. If you’ve been following along, you know that managing goats—especially separating bucks and does—can be a challenge. We wanted to create a space that wasn’t just functional, but something that truly felt like a home. So Jarred set out to design and build Flappy his very own indoor/outdoor area. A space where he can be comfortable, safe, and still feel connected to everything happening on the farm. In this segment, we walk you through: The layout and design decisions How we created both indoor shelter and outdoor access The importance of separation for herd management And of course… Flappy’s reaction to his new setup 🐐 This project is a big step forward for how we care for and manage our animals, and it’s something we’re really proud of. 📬 Ask Adam: Questions From a Classroom One of the best parts of what we do is connecting with all of you—and this week, that connection came from a classroom of students who sent us a list of questions about the farm. In this segment, we sit down and answer some of their thoughtful (and fun!) questions, including: How many animals we have at the farm What life is like for Winston What it’s like caring for goats and other animals And more questions straight from curious young minds We always say this, but it truly means a lot to us that classrooms are watching, learning, and engaging with what we do here. It’s something we don’t take for granted. 💌 Community Spotlight This might be our favorite segment every single week. The kindness, creativity, and generosity from this community continues to amaze us—and this episode is no exception. It’s always so special to see how your talents show up in such creative ways. 💎 Gems & Rocks for Keegan One very thoughtful package included a collection of rocks and gems for Keegan to add to his growing collection. If you know Keegan, you know how much this meant to him. We say it all the time, but this community truly feels like family.
