Learn how to breastfeed baby while lying down on your side. In this video I demonstrate how to nurse your baby in the side lying position and I share 6 of my own practical breastfeed tips. I will show you how I breastfeed my baby from both breasts in the side lying position without having to move my baby or switch sides on the bed, I wish I had figured this out from day 1! The side lying position is also helpful for clearing blocked milk ducts on the top half of the breast. I show you clearly how to do this step by step at the end of the video. Nursing a newborn in the side lying position can be an invaluable technique for many moms, especially those who have just had a c-section, moms of baby's with difficulty latching due to large breasts and even sleepy babies that tend to fall asleep in the cradle hold position as the side feeding position is not as snugly for baby by comparison.
