The global corn market is entering a phase of strong positive pressure, driven by crop failures in Europe and weather uncertainties in the United States. With estimated losses of 10 million tons, the European continent is heading towards a historic import record, opening a strategic window for Brazilian corn and sorghum. While conflicts in the Black Sea complicate international logistics, Brazil is accelerating the harvest of its second crop, which has already reached 60% of the area and is surprisingly high in productivity. Vlamir Brandalizze comments that Brazilian producers are closely monitoring quality losses in American crops and the progress of shipments in the coming weeks. The sorghum market is experiencing a period of strong global adjustment, driven by a severe drop in production in the United States, which is registering its smallest harvest in over a decade and a significant decline in crop quality. While the North American scenario is one of contraction, in Brazil the harvest has already exceeded 55%, with producers advancing rapidly in the field and monitoring export opportunities. With indications of attractive prices at the Port of Santos, which already point to values ​​between 68 and 70 reais, Vlamir Brandalizze highlights that Brazilian producers are adopting a cautious strategy, prioritizing the delivery of contracts and waiting for the best time to negotiate the surplus.
