Mosaic Grouting Demo -- Adirondack Folk School Framed Stained Glass Mosaics

John Vaughn of Glass Art by John demonstrates grouting and cleaning techniques from his Adirondack Folk School class Framed Stained Glass Mosaics. Grout used: Mapei Keracolor S Sanded Grout (black) from Lowe's Mixing ratio: For 5x7 mosaic, 100g (about 1/3 cup) grout + 20g (4 tsp) water For an 8x10 mosaic, double those numbers to 200g (2/3 c) grout and 40g (8 tsp) water. Allow at least 24 hours between gluing and starting to grout. After grouting, allow 24-72 hours before cleaning off grout residue. After cleaning residue, allow a couple of hours for the mosaic to dry before cleaning with a towel.
