Mountain Life in Iran | Wood Fire Chicken & Fresh Spring Water

Join us for a peaceful summer day high in the mountains, where nature, family, and traditional cooking come together. After hiking through the beautiful green mountains, we stop beside a crystal-clear spring to wash our rice and whole chicken with fresh mountain water. Back at our campsite, we light a wood fire and fry the chicken until golden before slowly cooking it with onions, carrots, and bell peppers. Meanwhile, the rice cooks over the fire, filling the mountain air with wonderful aromas. The sunny morning gradually turns into a cool, misty afternoon, making the mountains even more beautiful. After enjoying a delicious homemade lunch, we take a relaxing afternoon nap while our mother prepares traditional tea over the fire. Later, we harvest fresh potatoes from a nearby garden and roast them in the hot embers before spending the rest of the day walking through the mountains, laughing together, and enjoying the peaceful beauty of nature.
