London Train Ride | Waterloo to Clapham Junction | Slow TV | Episode 1 (2018)

You're watching a Slow TV video of a journey on London Transport's overground train service from Waterloo station to Clapham Junction on at around 18:30 on Wednesday 26th July 2017. It was shot on an iPhone 7 Plus at 1080p 60 fps resolution. Our feature starts as we ascend the escalator (moving staircase) to the main Waterloo station platform. We then head through the crowd to platform 15 where we board the train. Although the busiest part of the evening rush is over it's still quite busy and I show you inside the carriage and out of the windows. There are lots of announcements over the PA. The first station at which we stop is Clapham Junction - the UK's busiest station - and we get off and I show you round before we exit through the ticket barriers and the video closes as we approach the taxi rank.
