Garden Portraits: Natural Light vs. LED vs. Flash - LIVE!
Today, I'm chasing that beautiful, blurry background (shallow depth of field) outside in the garden. I'll test different lighting setups in real-time to see what works best, keeping it fun, simple, and experimental. The plan is to start with just natural light, working with what the sun gives us. Next I'll mix in some LED to see if it adds a quick pop of light to the mix. Finally it's natural light + Flash. I'll show you how I use ND filters and HSS flash to keep those backgrounds beautifully blurred without overexposing the shot. Join the conversation, steer the session or just sit back, enjoy the show. As always I'll be joined by Sam on the comments, Freya on the super switcher and Polly as my "model".
