Organized by the Instituto Ling, in partnership with the Itaú Foundation and the 24th International Meeting of Art and Technology, and coordinated by researcher and professor Suzete Venturelli, the training course Nature, Art and Technology: Love between Humans and Non-Humans proposes a reflection on the interdependence between humans, other forms of life, and technologies. In this class, held on July 14, 2025, artist and curator Daniel Lima leads a journey through works that articulate memory, archives, and the construction of political-poetic meanings. A look at the relationships between humans and nature from the perspective of contemporary art. Daniel Lima is an artist, curator, editor, and researcher. He holds a PhD in Audiovisual Media and Processes from USP and has been investigating media, race, resistance, and geopolitics since 2001. Founder of the Frente 3 de Fevereiro, he has participated in exhibitions and seminars in Brazil and abroad. He has received awards in arts, film, and social studies. Winner of the 2022 Jabuti Prize, he directs Invisíveis Produções, a company focused on games and narratives about the social and political context.
