Jeep JK handbrake parking brake not catching (pulling all the way up) - Diagnosis and (my) Fix

The Jeep JK series has a significant design flaw that causes the handbrake lever to have to come all the way up to engage (and sometimes it's still not enough). While there are several existing videos on different fixes, this video is meant to go over the flawed design, discuss why it stops working, and offer a simple fix that should work for the foreseeable future.
