Welcome to my coverage of The 2023 Great Train Show in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, presented by the Epping Model Railway Club. Known as one of Australia’s biggest model railway exhibitions, The Great Train Show brought together over 70 layouts, exhibitors, manufacturers, retailers and railway modelling displays for a huge weekend of model trains, layouts and hobby inspiration. In this video, we take a look around the exhibition and explore a wide variety of model railway layouts across different scales, countries, eras and modelling styles. From Australian outline layouts and detailed scenery to international trains, club displays, trade stands and new model railway products, there was plenty to see for railway enthusiasts, modellers and families alike. Whether you’re into HO scale, N scale, OO gauge, Australian model railways, British outline, European trains, DCC, scenery, locomotives, rolling stock or exhibition layouts, this event had something for everyone.
