How to convert to Tbar coil over mounts

In this video I show you how to convert a standard shock eyelet into a t-bar mount style. Some say this is a stronger mount. I can’t say for certain, but in my scenario, it was the best choice for the new lower control arms. T-bar style mounts are for the appropriate lower control arms. They do NOT work in conjunction with through bolt eyelet style mounts. If you are buying new lower control arms you might have to convert your existing coil overs like I had to. This is way cheaper than buying new coil overs. I forgot to mention in the video but the pair of t-bar conversion kits cost me around $65 including shipping. QA1 also sells conversion kits. As best as I could tell they are the same dimensions. Make sure you order the correct width for your control arms. The kits from Vi-King were a few bucks cheaper than Amazon or QA1. This price will vary.
