Frankie, Hugo and Yara are the picture of young family bliss. He’s a professional skater, she’s a professional surfer and little Yara’s pretty lethal on a scooter. Based in Malibu, their days consist of skating, catching waves and spending as much time as a family as possible. There’s a gentleness to this week’s PHCL episode. It’s a brilliant reminder that sometimes the best memories are made when you slow down and focus on the simple stuff - like getting a burrito with your parents after watching Mom catch a few waves. Season 3 of Pack Heavy, Chase Light sees us venture out into the world (again) to bring you a deep dive into the heads of the people we look up to. In this series, we have conversations with photographers, marketers, skaters, surfers, climbers, creatives and snowboards and ask them ‘Why’. Why have they made the decisions they made? Why do they do the sports they do and why did they pursue the careers they have? Hallvard (Producer) and Sam (Creator) are back at it. Yes, they got their bags pinched in Barcelona, experienced an earthquake in NYC and skied an active volcano in Portland, but would they change anything?
