In reality, safety checks and wiring management took longer, and the installation ended up taking over an hour, but this time I prioritized "making it safe to use" over appearance. For that reason, this time I chose a simple installation that prioritized: ・Avoiding driving interference ・Rather than focusing on wiring and interior finish. Because the airbag is located inside the A-pillar, the wiring is routed along the original wiring without forcibly removing the interior. In addition, the wiring around the footwell (around the accelerator and brake) is securely fastened at a minimum to prevent it from falling or getting caught. Before attaching the front camera, the glass surface is degreased with absolute ethanol (or silicone off). As an alternative, a quick-drying parts cleaner can be used, but be careful not to leave any residue. *This video shows a temporary installation.
