ARM COM Express Type 7 Module, Intel Xeon D Alternative
The CME102 is a high-performance control-plane CPU module for next-generation open networking systems. It integrates the Marvell OCTEON 10 CN102 in a COM Express® Type 7 Basic form factor, enabling a plug-and-play compute core for custom carrier board designs. It features eight Arm® Neoverse™ N2 cores (5nm process) with a 33W low-power, fanless design, paired with DDR5 memory, multiple 10GbE interfaces, and rich PCIe connectivity. The module also includes hardware acceleration for packet processing and inline IPsec encryption/offload. Designed for real-world infrastructure use cases, CME102 can serve as the control-plane engine for whitebox switches and network storage platforms, while also supporting edge routers, NGFW/UTM, SD-WAN gateways, 5G small cells, and other open networking systems.
