RECIPE: Spring Roll Sheets สูตรแผ่นเปาะเปี๊ยะ (ปอเปี๊ยะ) Spring rolls are very popular in Asian cuisine. This video will show you how to make home-made spring roll sheets. For this, you´ll need all-purpose flour, rice flour, cornstarch, egg, salt and water. 💠 Ingredients yields 25-30 spring roll sheets 💠 225 grams All purpose flour 125 g rice flour 100 g cornstarch 1 egg 1/2 tsp salt 600ml of water 2 tbsp vegetable oil (to brush the pan) For baking you need: a pan with a diameter of 28 cm pastry brush for the dough (in this video, I use the size 60mm) Pastry brush for the oil Dough spatulas A cloth to clean the pan Direction: Place all-purpose flour, rice flour, cornstarch and salt in a bowl. Add egg. Pour water in. Mix well. Put the mixture in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. You can leave it in for up to 24 hours. Then stir the mixture well. Preparation Heat the pan and then brush with the oil. Over medium heat, brush the pan with the dough thinly, using a pastry brush. Bake for about 30 to 45 seconds. Remove the spring roll sheet from the pan with a spatula. Clean the pan with a cloth. Repeat the steps until the dough is empty. FYI: This recipe yields 25 to 30 sheets. The freshly made spring roll sheets can be used right away for spring rolls making.
