Sungai Siak, Sungai Terdalam yang di Jaga Ular Raksasa Ular Bidai..
The Siak River is one of Pekanbaru's iconic landmarks. Behind its serene appearance, however, lies a number of intriguing stories. The Siak River is one of the deepest rivers, designated by the government. Its depth is said to be 20-30 meters. However, the exact depth of this river, which divides Pekanbaru, remains unknown. The Siak River was formerly known as the Jantan River. This river stretches from the Bengkalis Strait in Bengkalis Regency to Tapung in Kampar Regency. The Siak River is the lifeblood of Pekanbaru City and Siak Regency. Trading ships from Malaysia and Singapore once sailed through it, transporting goods. It even served as a port for Hajj pilgrims embarking on their pilgrimage to Mecca. Since ancient times, its ecosystem has been rich in flora and fauna, such as the sighting of a dolphin-like fish that often accompanies pilgrims on their journey. This fish is also known as the pesut fish. Many stories have developed within the community about the life in this river. These stories have their own versions and variations, reflecting the growth and development of children living along the banks of the Maluku River. Sometimes they serve as bedtime stories from their parents, or as advice and prohibitions that are still believed to this day. This deepest river in Indonesia holds mystical stories behind its calm surface currents. In various stories, there are myths about the existence of white crocodiles, bidai snakes, dragons, and many others. Let's watch the full discussion until the end of the video. Enjoy watching.
