SAVE at 50! From Vacant to Vibrant - SAVE celebrates reuse with Plymouth's Nudge Community Builders

What do derelict theatres, nightclubs, mushroom farms and banner-making workshops have in common? They’re all part of the story of Union Street in Plymouth. As part of SAVE Britain’s Heritage’s 50th anniversary, we joined forces with Nudge Community Builders for two packed days of talks, tours and community celebration. The film explores the past and future of Union Street’s historic buildings — from the magnificent but decaying Palace Theatre 🎭 to once-empty pubs, clubs and cinemas now being revived for new uses. Along the way, we meet local people and projects breathing life back into this extraordinary street — from grassroots initiatives and community venues to new enterprises and creative ideas for reusing heritage. 👉 Learn more about SAVE’s work and sign up to our free bulletin: https://savebritainsheritage.us8.list... 👉 Find out more about Nudge Community Builders: https://www.nudge.community/
