LA PARTE MÁS DIFÍCIL DE ESTUDIAR EN LA UNAM NO SE VIVE DENTRO DEL SALÓN.

🎓 For many students, the hardest part of university begins long before they step into the classroom. This time, we visited the FES Aragón campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) to learn about the stories, opinions, and challenges its students face. We also brought breakfast and financial support to recognize all the effort they put in every day. One of the stories that impacted us the most was that of a student who travels from Texcoco and takes about two hours to get to the university. That's up to four hours of commuting each day, in addition to classes, assignments, and the difficulties of finding professors who aren't always accessible to their students' personal circumstances. We also learned about the importance of UNAM's human-centered approach and the support among students during strikes and student movements. Behind every degree program is a story that we rarely see.
