[July 19, 2026 Sea Foraging Catch Record] Date & Location: July 19, 2026, Tidal Flat, Iwon-myeon, Taean-gun (Please understand that I cannot provide specific details regarding the exact spot, as I learned it from an acquaintance.) Tide & Conditions: High Tide 728 / Low Tide 62 (12th tide). The low tide level rose gradually, progressing from 16cm on the 17th to 29cm on the 18th and 62cm on the 19th, creating challenging conditions. Thoughts on the Trip: I hadn't been able to go out for several days due to a busy shift schedule. Work comes first, but visiting the fishing grounds on my days off, even when the tides aren't ideal, is the true joy of my hobby. Catch: 1 fist-sized conch, numerous small conchs, and my first ever octopus. All egg-bearing crabs were released back into the water to conserve the resources. Safety: For safety, I withdrew 20 minutes before low tide.
