When I was about 14 I read a book called '1000 Journeys to Take Before You Die'. Those pages included stories about the Orient Express, tracking the spirit bears in Canada and driving the mountains of New England in the fall. Ever since then, these sweeping roads that wind through multi-coloured forests and over mountain passes have been a bucket list dream.
