MEET THE SMOKIES 2 - OLD-TIMERS & FARM LIFE
Smoky Mountain Old-Timers talk about farm life. Plus old-time music is played. "Meet the Smokies" (around 1972) was a multi-part series that covered a lot of aspects of the park. This part showcased farm living, such as washing clothes, planting garden, and mountain eating. Two of the series have been intermixed, farm life and mountain music by a trio of men. Some titles have been added to the original. Re-edits by Lew Bolton. Thanks to Mike Aday for researching and providing the digital files. Now, it is being seen anew on the Smoky Mountain Historical Society YouTube Channel.
